mouiller à siaux

Quebec expression. 'siaux' is an old, sometimes still used, way of saying 'buckets'. Literally, this expression means 'the sky is wet (it's raining) as if water were being poured from a bucket'. Like many Quebec expressions, this pronunciation still exists in some provinces of western France, in the farming community, from where it probably originates.
